Characterization

What are important elements of characterization? (Literal)
Actions, speech/Dialogue, thoughts, physical description, other characters reactions, persona (who they are...readers reactions), effect on others, names, personality, background.

Why is characterization important? To be able to connect and feel the emotions of the character. Gives you an insight into the story in different scenarios as to why things happen. Add interests to the story. Adds depth to the story. Adds realism to the story and make it seem more believable.

(Figurative= greater conclusion)
